Hailed by the current mayor of New York Bill de Blasio as the the best pizza in the city, DiFara Pizza has a new namesake outpost in Las Vegas, transplanted by local Westside favorites Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar.
The grab and go DiFara's has now debuted inside the new Caesars Palace Forum Food Court and is already creating long lines of customers.
Dominick DeMarco and family have been operating in the same Midwood, Brooklyn, location since 1964 and his pies have become the stuff of legend. After years of persuasion from entrepreneurs Albert Scalleat and Jeff LaPour, Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria opened in 2011 with the exact same recipe as the New York original and a custom water filtration system to closely match the mineral content of the original Brooklyn water.
On the Strip, the already busy fast food outpost serves slices and whole pies and offers a dollar off every food menu item for members of Caesars' Total Rewards players club.
Also on the compact menu, desserts, salads, sandwich and pasta. A few items are described almost verbatim as the original Dom DeMarco’s restaurant presentations.
