Heading to the Grand Banquet at Ultimo this weekend? Chefs Daniel Boulud, Emeril Lagasse and Buddy Valastro will be cooking up the lavish meal paired with wines on Friday night at the Grand Colonnade at the Venetian, all served at a super long table that seats 200.
Here’s a look at what you will be eating.
Daniel Boulud plans to serve a pheasant pâté en croûte served with foie gras, porcini, chestnut and black truffle. That dish is paired with MontGras Antú Syrah, Colchagua Valley, Chile 2012 as well as S.A. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett, Mosel, Germany 2011.
Emeril Lagasse will showcase a couple of decadent courses including a winter veal stew prepared with braised veal and homemade veal sausage, baby root vegetables and shaved white truffle served with Jean-Luc Colombo “Les Ruchets” Cornas AOC, France 2007 and MontGras Ninquén, Colchagua Valley, Chile 2009.
For dessert, Buddy Valastro will cap off the evening with a chocolate and Nutella torta served with salted caramel ice cream, cocoa nib tuile and paired with S.A. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Mosel, Germany 2006.
For those lucky enough to get tickets to the sold out event, vocalist Sisaundra Lewis from season six of The Voice brings the entertainment along with pianist Danny Wright. The night includes a live auction to benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
