Brian Howard, the corporate executive chef at Comme Ça at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, departs after Dec. 13. In his place, chef de cuisine Daniel Ontiveros steps up to the job.
Ontiveros worked his way up from executive sous chef to chef de cuisine since joining the restaurant. He's worked at Thomas Keller's Bouchon at the Venetian and Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand as well during his career.
No word on where Howard will land, but stay tuned for an update to this developing story. In the meantime, dine on Howard's latest menu through next Saturday night.
