Durango Lodge, the 24-hour tavern at 3399 S. Durango Drive, was shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection on Dec. 3.

Inspectors discovered an imminent health hazard — no potable or hot water.

Every other inspection dating back to 2007 resulted in an A grade.

The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
