Carnevino Plus White Truffles Equals a One-Night-Only Dinner

Carnevino Italian Steakhouse at the Palazzo throws an Urbani Truffle dinner Dec. 19 for $225 per person. Pair it up with wines for another $100.

The five-course menu includes carne cruda alla Piemontese with chopped to order steak tartare with black truffle paired with Franciacorta, Ca 'del Bosco "Cuvee Prestige" NV Lombardia; white truffle sformato with dungeness crab and caviar paired with Meursault, Bouchard Aine & Fils 2009 Bourgogne; tagliatelle Urbani white truffle butter paired with Meursault, Bouchard Aine & Fils 2009 Bourgogne; dry-aged New York strip with Yukon gold black truffle gratin, porcini trifolati paired with Barolo, Paolo Scavino 2009 Piemonte; and black truffle honey bruciato with Urbani black truffle honey, and glazed figs paired with Cascinetta Vietti, Moscato d'Asti, 2013 Piemonte.
