Chad the Chicken Is Crowing About a Second Location

Chad the Chicken, mascot and "professional marketing assistant" for Nevada Chicken Café, will soon have a second home to cluck about. The casual chicken and ribs joint is expanding to the Arroyo Market Square in Spring Valley, into a large strip mall neighborhood that includes tenants like Chipotle Mexican Grill and Sammy's Woodfired Pizza.

Operating since 2006, their original west-side Chicken Café location features a policy of serving fresh ingredients and making "everything from scratch," including their salsa and barbecue sauce. In addition to a focus on rotisserie chicken, the company also serves salads and a line of made-to-order Nutri-Blast juices. No timetable for the second site has been announced.
