Somehow, the gaping holes in The Cromwell will be filled and the resort will open in time for Memorial Day weekend. Or so says Victor Drai. He tells the Caesars Entertainment Total Rewards blog that his rooftop dayclub and nightclub will debut in time for the long holiday weekend.

The 65,000-square-foot nightclub plans to feature 75 tables indoors and an identical number outdoors, sans the trend of booking big-name deejays.
For the dayclub, expect 10 VIP bungalows and cabanas with their own pools. Another 15 cabanas sit on the mezzanine level and five more bungalows have a private pool. Commoners can vie for one of the 40 daybeds. Even more details on the pools can be found here.
Perhaps most interesting, a shot at purchasing fireworks. Drai promises a fireworks menu valued between $5,000 and $100,000, for high rollers who want to impress their friends.
Of course, The Cromwell will also include Giada De Laurentiis' very first restaurant at the front on the second floor. She's teased a mid-May opening for the three-meal dining room that will handle room service and her California approach to Italian cooking.
