Yes, The Linq Will Have a Piano Bar, Opening This Spring

As entertainment district The Linq prepares to unveil even more venues this Friday comes news that piano bar BLVD Cocktail Co. will make its debut this spring. As first reported by Eater Vegas in December, the 2,400-square-foot cocktail bar will serve-up cocktails and modern art, as well as "showcase performances from artists around the world on a Steinway & Sons Baby Grand piano."

The owners of Commonwealth and Park on Fremont are betting big on that piano, which can show performances via satellite with a "cloud" custom art instillation by Gabrielle Culp overhead made from thousands of LED lights. This artwork can simulate thunderstorms and other visual effects to go with performances.

The cocktail menu promises to showcase "selections [that] take from various cocktail cultures and techniques from around the world to create reimagined libations." 

A 24-foot-long drink rail surrounds the piano while oversized booths fill out the more intimate seating A 45-foot-long communal marble bar takes over one side of the room. Behind that, a rolling ladder gives bartenders access to the liquor collection. Pocket doors reveal a 600-square-foot patio with views of the High Roller, the 550-foot observation wheel also opening this spring.
