You may not be invited to the Governors Ball, Wolfgang Puck's exclusive Oscars after-party, on Sunday, but now you can dine like a movie star at Spago at the Forum Shops at Caesars.
This year, his 19th serving up dishes to hungry celebrities after the Academy Awards, Puck serves some of his classics at the affair, and most are available at Spago. Look for spicy tuna tartare in sesame miso cones at $4 apiece, Wolfgang Puck's mini prime burgers with remoulade and aged cheddar at three for $16, smoked salmon pizza with black caviar for $39, braised short ribs for $28, wienerschnitzel for $26 and Chinois chicken salad for $18. Unfortunately, no chocolate versions of the Oscars statuette make the menu.
Those dining at Spago on Sunday can order up the $14 The Director's Cut prepared by mixologist Peter Vitolo. It includes 1.5 ounces Tanqueray 10 Gin, honey citrus tea, thyme-infused simple syrup, a half ounce of lemon juice, egg white, a Prosecco finish and three Luxardo cherries on a bamboo skewer.
