Lobster ME will indeed be taking over a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf space at the The Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. Just not the exact one we told you about.

LEV Restaurant Group, who owns both chains, is constructing a 1,984-square-foot Lobster ME inside the resort's food court, a sequel to their busy, original branch at the Miracle Mile Shops. The new roomy location will allow 58 guests and existing tables and seating in the area that will be inherited from their former Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outpost.

For those striving for a java fix, another Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf will continue to operate a few yards away, opposite a Sin City Brewing Co. outpost and adjacent to a newsstand. Both of the coffee stops are quirkily assigned tenant number 2164 on a current property map.

LEV Restaurant Group are creators of Jamba Juice, Daily Kitchen & Wellness Bar and I Love Burgers. Lobster ME still anticipates a spring debut for the new location to begin serving up "Maine Style" chilled lobster rolls, lobster mac & cheese and their special creation, the Lobsicle, a fried lobster tail on a stick.
