The plywood wrap surrounding the lower level of The Chandelier explains "like a classic martini we are shaking things up," but behind the formidable barrier hides a very specific makeover.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has already removed the bar's stone countertop and is replacing it with a new, marble upgrade to cover the entire curved surface. The existing decorative metal touches will be reattached. They will also be adding some marble flooring to the scene.
The resort has placed an estimated $100,000 construction budget on the project, not including the price of the new fixtures. The two upper levels remain in business during the upgrade.
