Las Vegas Dominates the Nightclub & Bar Awards

Las Vegas still rules the night. Twenty-four of the top bars in the country are right here in Las Vegas. The annual Nightclub & Bar Top 100 list came out last night with XS Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas topping it for the second year in a row with revenues of more than $90 million in 2013.

"Not only does our 2014 Top 100 survey show that Las Vegas has rightfully earned its reputation as the nation's nightlife capital with 24 venues making the list, but also the results prove just how much patrons love nightlife venues across the entire country with ongoing growth in the industry," said Jon Taffer, president of Nightclub & Bar and host and executive producer of Spike TV's Bar Rescue in a press release.

Marquee Nightclub at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas came in second with revenues of $85 million to $90 million. Hakkasan at the MGM Grand earned an honorary placement, since the venue was not open for the full year required to receive an official Nightclub & Bar Top 100 Award. The organization estimates that Hakkasan would generate revenue of more than $90 million. Eight of the top 11 venues reside in Vegas.

The winners of the 2014 Nightclub & Bar Top 100 will be honored with a party at XS Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 26, during the annual Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show with a performance by deejay David Guetta.
