If the light ain't lit, you can't sit and sip. With an abbreviated menu and no current drinking in their under construction garden, The Plaza's Bier Garten is still offering curious visitors a sneak peek at their final version of their vaguely Bavarian-inspired indoor and outdoor pub.
Work continues on the real grass exterior, with views of the Fremont Street Experience. Mounted TVs are being wired, the picnic tables are coming and even more foliage is being added to the scene.

On tap, they offer around two dozen choices with brands like Magic Hat #9, Shiner Bock, Brooklyn Brown Ale, Arrogant Bastard, Wells Banana Bread Beer, Timmermans Strawberry and Delirium Tremens. Metal beer casks are integrated into the table design.

For snacking, the Bier Garten is serving "extra giant size" large German pretzels with mustard for $10.99 or $4.79 fries with a choice of seven different dipping sauces.
Originally planning to serve six sausage concepts with vintage Las Vegas inspired names, the early menu offers three choices priced at $7.49 each.
The Hacienda:
Sweet Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, cooked onions, giardinera.
The Stardust:
German bratwurst, cooked onions, sauerkraut, and sweet German mustard.
The El Rancho:
Classic Vienna all beef, topped with hand cut fries, coleslaw and ketchup.

For a sweet finale, "frozen dessert pops" were announced, but for now they feature cinnamon and sugar pretzel with homemade icing, priced at $10.99.
The flexible current hours are from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, but that may take a while to settle in until the official opening date is announced within the next few weeks.
