Reviews of The Blind Pig, Viva Mercado and Presto

Al Mancini heads to Block16 Hospitality's newest venture, The Blind Pig Provisions & Lounge inside the Panorama Towers, and it seems some of the kinks need to be worked out at the weeks old restaurant.

He says the meatballs are some of the best he's had in town, and the porchetta sandwich "is also outstanding." He doesn't care for the "oval shape of the share-plates[,which] makes it impossible to rest a fork on them," and sometimes "[s]ervice can be interminably slow." [VS]

Brock Radke checks out the relatively new Viva Mercado at Village Square. "All the staples are here, from enchilada-style burritos to Enseñada-style fish tacos, but there are plenty of signature items created by [Bobby] Mercado or his chef of 28 years, Jose Rodriguez." [LVW]

HKR gives Presto Neighborhood Cafe on South Rainbow Boulevard A grades for food and service and a B grade for atmosphere for an overall A- grade. [LVRJ]
