Get ready for Anthony Bourdain's fall tour of Las Vegas to hit television sets on April 20. His one-hour CNN series Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown returns for its third season the previous week.
"Bourdain travels to Las Vegas, a city known for over-indulgence, with food author Michael Ruhlman and visits locales that include Huntridge Tavern (in the shadow of the strip), and famed restaurant é by Jose Andres. Also featured in the episode are Penn Jillette, and former mayor Oscar Goodman," a press release states.
During Bourdain's trip to Vegas, he visited Raku, did a full broadcast at Atomic Liquors, dined with Jet Tila at Lotus of Siam, stopped by Natalie Young's Eat and wrapped up his trip at Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace.
The trip sparked controversy when former mayor Oscar Goodman said Bourdain was 40 minutes late to an interview at his restaurant Oscars Beef, Booze & Broads at the Plaza (he wasn't).
On April 13, an episode of Prime Cuts with a preview of the new season will air at 8 p.m. with Parts Unknown following at 9 p.m.
