The Back of the House Brawl returns to Tommy Rocker's this Saturday night with Eric Scott of Central Michel Richard at Caesars Palace taking on John Courtney, who is currently the sous chef at Pinot Brasserie but soon joins DB Brasserie at the Venetian. The theme for this battle, which puts the chefs on food trucks using a mystery basket of ingredients, is sliders.
For the third season, organizer Jolene Mannina says a new trophy will be unveiled from Anheuser-Busch, replacing the PBR pony keg trophy decorated by winning chefs.
Food trucks Wa Da Pho, Truk-N-Yaki, The Hummus Factory, Coast 2 Coast Deli and Bake My Day will be on hand.
Also, the night features a cock fight between Alex Penalosa from Comme Ça at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Adam O'Donnell of Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace. The two will use minimal ingredients and tools to create two drinks in 10 minutes. This portion of the event is sponsored by Bacardi.
Food trucks start serving at 10 p.m. with the brawl starting at 1 a.m. followed by the cock fight.
