Look for the Peanut Butter Sandwich (Do-Si-Dos) milk shake with chocolate and peanut glazed donuts created by chef Marissa Gerlach of The Commissary, which won a bake-off contest at the resort. Other desserts include a Thin Mint Cheesecake with chocolate sauce and thin mint chocolate garnish coupled with a Thin Mint smoothie with Chantilly cream chocolate straw garnish, created for the Stewart + Ogden menu by chef Vivian Chang, pastry chef for the Downtown Grand. Chef Joe Leininger of Triple George Grill created three desserts including a Thin Mint Cheesecake with Bailey's liqueur glaze, a Thanks-a-Lot Dulce de Leche with sea salted caramel, and Strawberry Lemonades Gooey Bars with fresh whip cream. All three restaurants are featuring the desserts, and a portion of the proceeds of the sale of the desserts will go to the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. [EaterWire]
