Local cafe lounge Sambalatte Torrefazione have bravely set an opening date for their third Las Vegas project, an upscale coffee shop at the Monte Carlo. Its pending arrival is part of the transformation of the resort's frontage into The Boulevard, an open pedestrian area featuring plants, trees, foliage walls and water attractions.
The 3,320-square-foot space is located by the newly remodeled entrance and will also include direct access from inside the casino. Despite the current appearance of a dramatic empty shell, Sambalatte is announcing a May 1 debut date. Next door and closer to the Strip will be future neighbor BLVD Creamery, also just known as The Creamery, an upscale version of an ice cream shop.
The Boulevard will move much of the Monte Carlo resort's immediate dining appeal into a outdoor street scene, away from the casino. First to arrive will be SBE's Double Barrel Roadhouse firmly set to debut on March 7. Next door, 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza is looking good for a tentative April arrival. Yusho from Chicago chef Matthias Merges is also looking for mid-April debut. Like Samabalatte, Yusho will have the advantage of guest access from inside the casino, adjacent to Andre's Restaurant & Lounge.
