Seonkyoung Longest, the home cook with no professional cooking experience who won her own restaurant at the M Resort on Restaurant Express, is out at her restaurant Jayde Fuzion.
"Following much success in opening Jayde Fuzion, executive chef Seonkyoung Longest will be moving on to pursue additional opportunities in the culinary industry," a press release from the M Resort states.
Jayde Fuzion however will remain open, although the resort has not announced a new chef.
On Restaurant Express, Youngest defeated seven other chefs to open her own restaurant at the resort in Henderson. After each challenge host Robert Irvine eliminated one contestant.
Longest appears to be traveling cross-country and trying different culinary fare. "It never has been about money, it has been all about people and food," she wrote on Facebook on Feb. 24. "One day, the truth will speak out by itself. All I want is be happy and make people happy with what I've got. That's all. It's that simple."
