Aureole's Chasing Thursdays; Krispy Kreme Pie Doughnuts

MANDALAY BAY — Chef Charlie Palmer launches Chasing Thursdays on the patio of Aureole next week. Palmer and Michael Herklots of Nat Sherman Cigars will be on hand for the first event, which includes the Unusual Suspects wines — all priced at $39 per bottle — and 20 percent off all menus. The revolving Unusual Suspects wine list features a mix of different labels, but will also highlight one particular varietal each week. [EaterWire]

LAS VEGAS — Krispy Kreme now has pie doughnuts in Key lime and caramel Dutch apple through Sunday, May 18. The Key lime pie doughnut is filled with a blend of Key lime and custard filling and topped with Key lime icing and graham crumbles while the caramel Dutch apple pie doughnut are filled with a chunky cinnamon apple filling and topped with caramel icing, a crunchy streusel and a dollop of cinnamon apple filling.
