Makers & Finders Urban Coffee Bar to the Arts District

It's not all micro brews and bars revitalizing the Arts District. Makers & Finders Coffee aim to sate hardcore caffeine fans with a bonus niche focus when they debut their urban coffee bar later this summer.

While concentrating on coffee and promising seven different methods of preparation and five countries of origin for the beans, they will also be serving salads and sandwiches, sweets and a commitment to "Latin comfort foods." The project owners previously ran the local Areperos food truck with a menu of arepas and empanadas.

Their preliminary Website notes the possible opening hours of Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and closed on Sundays.

The lounge will occupy suite B in the same stretch of shuttered retail being transformed by the future arrival of lounge and brew pub Hop Nuts Brewing.
