Take a Look at the Japanese Street Food Menu at Yusho

Here now, a look at the opening menu for Yoshu, the new Japanese street food and noodle house now open at the Monte Carlo. So far, the restaurant is rolling out a smaller menu than at the original location in Chicago, but soon find daily specials. Cross your collective fingers for the Sunday Noodles specials, which includes a ramen dish, dessert and a beverage for $20.

Until then, order the chicken wings that will practically melt in your mouth, the grilled octopus that makes an excellent snack and the tofu donuts. The Logan Poser Ramen embodies what chef Matthias Merges is trying to do with the restaurant — create dishes that only in part duplicate the originals on the streets of Tokyo. Here you find a rich broth, but do dunk that crispy pork into the broth to let in marinade and blend. Try one of the five steamed buns, but be sure the eggplant is on your must-order list, followed by the pork shoulder.

The menu is divided into six sections covering grilled, fried, noodles, steam buns, pickled and sweets. Most of the dishes are meant to be shared, so don't be afraid to order a little of everything.
