Andrea's Has Cheers & Chopsticks; Pure Aloha Festival

ENCORE LAS VEGAS — Andrea's debuts Cheers & Chopsticks on Thursday, May 1. With a local ID, guests can land signature cocktails and small plates starting at $7 during this new Thursday night program available from 6 p.m. to close. Look for Scottish salmon tartare, hamachi, five spice squid, miso black cod bites, sautéed Gulf shrimp, spicy wok-fried chicken, Wagyu beef sliders, and crispy Brussels sprouts. Classic sushi rolls include spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail and salmon. The menu will be available at VDKA Bar, Andrea's lounge and outside on the restaurant's patio. RIO — The 13th Annual Spring Pure Aloha Festival runs tomorrow through Sunday with more than 100 specialty food and retail vendors, a large carnival with midway rides and performances by Halau. The festival opens Thursday and Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Tickets at $8 and $6 for children ages 5 to 10, seniors 55 and older and military with ID. [EaterWire]
