The Hakkasan Makeover of Pure Starts Over Here

When the Hakkasan Group recently acquired Angel Management Group and their management of their Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace, the long-rumored club remodel seemed even more imminent. One issue was the expansion of space within the resort property and out toward the Strip.

That problem is now being solved. The nightclub's adjacent Las Vegas Poker Room is being vacated and heading over to a 3,983-square-foot space formerly occupied by the resort's Sports Bar. The demolition is well underway and enormous plywood masks the scene from neighbor Mesa Grill and also blocks views of the Race & Sports Book from visitors on the west side of the casino floor. The poker room currently remains in business and no timetable or firm details of the extent of the Pure makeover have been revealed.

The switcheroo will add 8,500 square feet of expansion space. If the private poker tournament room just north of the main gaming area is also part of the plan, that will free up another 6,000 square feet for Pure to merge into.
