Luna Lounge Comes Within One Point of SNHD Shutdown

Luna Lounge, the hookah lounge at 3057 Las Vegas Blvd. S., came within one point of being shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection on April 11.

SNHD inspectors found the staff wasn't washing their hands properly, the restaurant used commercially manufactured food from an unapproved source, no hot and cold running water, spoiled food and more during the 40 demerit inspection.

This is the first inspection by SNHD.

The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
