Meet the Foie Gras Martini at Andre's

Last week, Eater National dropped news of a foie gras cocktail from Ox in Portland, Ore. Andre's reached out to remind us that they've been serving the Marti Gras Martini at the Monte Carlo for ages.

Legend has it that this cocktail was created when a guest walked in and asked if Andre's had a bacon martini. Not to be outdone, Patrick Trundle, director of beverages for Andre's, thought up the martini on the spot. The guest was amazed. The rest is history.
