O Face Doughnuts Leads Off The John E. Carson Hotel Revival

Located two doors down from Kerry Simon's future Carson Kitchen restaurant, O Face Doughnuts is now officially open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.

Created by Sonny Ahuja, part owner of wine bar Bin 702 at the nearby Container Park, pastry chef and general manager Crystal Whitford is in charge of the selections. Seattle's Caffe Vita coffee is being served alongside a full doughnut roster including apple bacon fritter, key lime, S'mores and a range of vegan choices.

Construction on the remaining tenants within the host John E. Carson Hotel building continues and O Face is still without a sign or a working Website. Future neighbors in the complex like Bikram Yoga Downtown are looking at early summer debuts. Carson Kitchen is hoping for a June opening.
