The changes keep coming to Green Valley Ranch. Yesterday, Sushi & Sake and China Spice both closed to make way for a newcomer to the Stations Casino's family — Pizza Rock.
The Henderson resort says the winner of the best pizza poll from Eater Vegas will open its second Vegas-area location at the resort, part of a $20 million renovation to the property. Pizza Rock is already rocking and rolling as part of Downtown Grand.
Also on the docket, Slice House by Tony Gemignani, the mastermind behind Pizza Rock. This casual venue will feature slices of New York-, Sicilian- and California-style pizzas as well as calzones, strombolis, paninis, baked ziti, seasonal salads, meatball subs, sausages and peppers.
Already Terra Verde has closed to make way for Mercadito, the Mexican restaurant out of Chicago. Quinn's Irish Pub shuttered to be replaced by Tippling Hall, another company from Mercadito Hospitality.
Tad Carducci and Paul Tanguay dub themselves the Tippling Bros., and their first Tippling Hall opens this summer in Chicago. Tippling Hall promises to be a "temple to all things alcohol" from kegged cocktails to traditional brews. Guillermo Tellez brings a "menu of globally inspired comfort food."
All should be open by next spring.
