Last Call for Tommy Rocker's Southside Grill

New, 1 comment

Tommy Rocker's Southside Grill in Henderson will close out this Sunday after 13 years, as the spot readies for another familiar name to take its place.

The 24-hour bar featured gaming, plenty of sports on the TVs, occasional live music performances from owner Tommy Rocker himself and was also noted by regulars for their chicken wings. Rocker will play out the joint for one last time this weekend.

The original Tommy Rocker's Vegas on Dean Martin Drive is not affected by this switcheroo and is celebrating its 25th year of business.

The new occupant will be Born And Raised Henderson, a.k.a. B.A.R., who already operate their Born And Raised Las Vegas at Cimarron and Warm Springs.

They have overhaul plans for the Tommy Rocker's place, turning it into an upscale locals sports bar with a full menu and have ambitions to extend the bar 4,158 square feet into the adjacent building space, topped off with an outdoor patio.
