Former Mina Group corporate executive chef Anthony Carron returns to Las Vegas with his 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, now open on The Boulevard, the swath of restaurants right on the Las Vegas Strip at the front of the Monte Carlo. Carron said he was inspired by the pizzas at Settebello, but tired of driving to Henderson to get them. Instead, he came up with his own, reducing the cost of ingredients by sourcing from California instead of Italy.

It's an inexpensive pie here, with four classics sitting at the forefront — the Margherita for $6.65, Bianca with white sauce for $5.85, Marinara for $5.35 and Verde with pine nut-basil pesto for $7.35. Fifteen specialty pizzas make decisions easier, while add-on toppings start at $1 each. Guests in the Los Angeles outlets like to build their own pizzas and wait the 60 seconds for them to bake in the 800 degree wood-fueled ovens. So even if there's a line, it moves quickly. Most locations in LA churn out between 800 and 1,200 pizzas per day.

Sit at one of the 120 seats in a 3,000-square-foot dining room or head out to the 1,000 square feet of outdoor dining.

The restaurant plans to fire pizzas and serve beer and wine daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
