SNHD Shuts Down Eva Longoria's SHe by Morton's

The Southern Nevada Health District shut down SHe by Morton's inside the swanky Shops at Crystals on April 30 after a re-inspection found 21 demerits.

SNHD inspectors originally visited the steakhouse with ties to actress Eva Longoria on April 22 when the restaurant received 32 demerits, a C grade. During the re-inspection, SNHD found food cooled improperly, inaccurate thermometers, food held at the wrong temperature and more.

The only previous inspection last year resulted in an A grade.

The steakhouse originally opened as Beso Steakhouse and shuttered to make way for the partnership between Landry's and Longoria. She Nightclub closed after seven weeks in operation in February 2013.

The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
