New, pop-art bright and pushing a "fun and high energy environment," BLVD Creamery has opened at the Monte Carlo resort, sandwiched between Diablo's Cantina Mexican restaurant and the newly debuted Sambalatte coffee shop. This new plaza in front of the resort has been christened The Boulevard for its new trees, foliage, water features and opportunities for outdoor dining.

The Creamery's front cases are filled with ice cream, cookies and ice cream novelties. Behind the counter, the upbeat staff will create a plethora of frozen concoctions.

With all the ice cream created on site, choices include scoops from single to triple in size, ranging in price from $4 to $9. Milkshakes can be created with flavored cereal milk, or you can order a soda fountain style shake or float.

Two larger desserts are featured prominently on the menu. The $9.50 BLVD Sundae adds your two choices of ice cream with two toppings, whipped cream and a cherry. The BLVD Split, for the same price, adds another scoop of ice cream and banana.

And you can sandwich any ice cream choice between a cookie or a brownie. Packaged baked goods are ready to go, alongside a collection of plush cows for you to take home.

At 3,052 square feet inside and 455-square-foot of patio facing the Strip, the exterior is equipped with seats provided by re-purposed milk cans.
