It takes some serious star power in Las Vegas to land some of the top names in the culinary world to come to your restaurant's grand opening, and it seems Daniel Boulud takes the cake in that category. Thomas Keller, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Nobu Matsuhisa, Paul Bartolotta, Francois Payard and Sammy Demarco, the host of Travel Channel's Chow Masters, all made an appearance at Boulud's shindig at DB Brasserie at the Venetian on Thursday. Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, who also has Buddy V's Ristorante and Carlo's Bakery at the Venetian and Palazzo, even dropped by with a showgirl on each arm to present Boulud with one of his specialty welcome "back" to Las Vegas cakes.
