You Can Bid on an Autographed Chef's Coat for Charity

Vegas Uncork'd may be over, but the people at Bon Appetit have a pretty cool auction going on, benefiting chef Kerry Simon and food critic Max Jacobson. Chefs from the event autographed two chef's coats that are being auctioned off to benefit Simon and Jacobson.

Buddy Valastro, Daniel Boulud, Francois Payard, Giada De Laurentiis, Gordon Ramsay, Guy Savoy, Joël Robuchon, Julian Serrano, Mario Batali, Michael Mina, Nobu Matsuhisa, Shawn McClain and Thomas Keller added their John Hancocks to the coats.

Head here to bid on the coats through 11:59 EDT on May 18. So far, Simon's coat is at $1,000 and Jacobson's is at $500. Proceeds for Simon's jacket go to Keep Memory Alive in support of the Kerry Simon Multiple System Atrophy Center at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health while proceeds for Jacobson's coat help with his recovery from a severe car accident in December.
