Meet Jeremy Pacheco, the new executive chef of Society Café at Encore Las Vegas.
Pacheco studied at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and started his career at The Phoenician's Terrace Dining Room in Scottsdale, Ariz. Pacheco then joined Wynn Las Vegas as the chef de cuisine of SW Steakhouse before working as the tournant chef of Encore and Wynn and the chef de cuisine at Society Café.
Pacheco returned to Arizona to become the executive chef at Lon's at the Hermosa Inn in Paradise Valley, Ariz.
Pacheco plans to continue his farm-to-table approach at Society Cafe. After all, he grew up on a farm in Arizona and sourced ingredients from his own half-acre garden while at Hermosa Inn. He uses flour and corn from Phoenix's Hayden Flour Mills found in the semolina gnocchi, and goat cheese purchased from Crow's Dairy in Buckeye, Ariz.
