Cadillac Mexican Cantina Finally Opens at the Golden Nugget

It took a while, but it's finally here. Cadillac Mexican Cantina & Tequila Bar debuts today at the Golden Nugget. Eater Vegas broke the news last November the famed Texas Tex-Mex concept from Landry's would be coming to the resort. The property finished a speedy construction process, put up the two "Tequila Towers" filled with bottles and then, for months, only a "hopefully soon" sign stood outside the shuttered space. Now its day is due.

With plenty of TV's showing sports, the Cantina's main drinking focus is on barrel aged margaritas, and a broad selection of tequilas, "with over 70 boutique expressions of Blanco, Anejo, Reposado and Distintivo."

The Cantina's menu offers a casual selection of soups and salads, enchiladas, tapas and the 'Especiales de la Casa,' signature items such as Carnitas Guadalajara, Relleno de Camaron, Tacos al Carbon, the Cadillac Mexicana Burger, and Mariscos Cozumel. Desserts will include sopapillas and tres leches.

A "To-Go station" is offering pre-order and pick-up service, including breakfast tacos, salads, wraps, street tacos, Cantina Beef Naches and Tacos al Carbon. The friendly hours for the Cantina are from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.

And since this is Fremont Street, to keep the party going visitors can try the "giant-sized 80-ounce ice cold beer towers." Naturally, souvenir cups will also be available.
