Miichelin Guide

Well, Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are now both worthy of a Michelin Guide, but not Las Vegas. Michael Ellis, director of the guides, didn't express any regret in shuttering the guide here. "It was opened just before the monumental crisis of 2007-2008, an unprecedented episode since 1929. Michelin decided for economic reasons to trim [the] guide. Las Vegas has paid the price." Michelin last visited Vegas in 2009. [Le Point]
