Blues BBQ Becoming Italian Sauce in Henderson

The former Whiskey Dick's, then the former Blues BBQ, will be headed in another culinary direction when Sauce Italian-American Bistro debuts within the next year.

Located across the street from the Sunset at Galleria in Henderson, the 10,985-square-foot venture has passed fire inspections, but is waiting on health inspections and work on some repairs, including replacing copper stolen from the property while vacant.

Details are scant, but the building features an existing restricted gaming license, a "to go" set-up and a wood burning open pit. Early job descriptions explain "this job will require a sense of humor and great customer service" and warns not to apply if you are a "stick in the mud" or a "slacker."
