It missed the target of a November opening date, but Gameworks has officially set its sights on returning to Las Vegas this summer. Once located further down the Strip, the new, custom built Town Square location will fill 37,000 square feet with the latest tech, gaming nostalgia and a whole lot of opportunities for nachos.

The luxe video arcade company is bringing classic arcade games and the latest machines to the outdoor mall, installing 7,000 square feet of arcade gaming, plus a 240 seat restaurant and an outdoor patio space for al fresco dining.

The menu from GameWorks Executive Chef Nicholas Di Paolo includes family restaurant favorites and less predictable fare like grilled pineapple chicken, Jerk Steak and "Far East Chicken Salad with Asian greens carrots, red cabbage, toasted almonds and fried chicken."

There will also be an eight-lane bowling alley with its own bar and a separate sports bar and lounge will serve the full menu, but encourage a focus on appetizers such as chicken wings, Tex Mex rolls and sliders. A Happy Hour is being worked into the mix.

A "Social Gaming Arena" will house "80 top-of-the-line personal computers" to encourage gamers to compete remotely with others around the country,

The complex will be open daily from 11 a.m. until a vague "when the fun stops."
