Delmonico Steakhouse's 15th Anniversary Luxury Menu

Reason to celebrate at Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse in the Venetian, as the steakhouse reaches its 15th anniversary.

In honor of the achievement, a special, limited time throwback menu has been created, plus two special cocktails available just for the month of May. The $115 NOLA Presidential "ultra-luxury cocktail" is concocted with the coveted Pappy van Winkle 15-year bourbon, plus "Pyrat Cask No. 1623 rum, Grand Marnier Cuvee 1880, Maurin blanc vermouth, Carpano Antica sweet vermouth, bourbon barrel-aged vanilla and Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas decanter bitters, garnished with a 24-karat edible gold leaf."

A less pricey tribute, the Delmonico Cup, will also be available for $15 and created with "Lagasse's first private bourbon barrel of Eagle Rare 10-year, Warres Otima 20-year tawny port, freshly squeezed lemon juice, organic vanilla syrup and fresh ginger."

Through May 9, during dinner hours, chef de cuisine Ronnie Rainwater will prepare favorite dishes culled from 15 years of menus. $15 appetizers and salads include "salt and pepper cured foie gras with brioche toast, citrus onion marmalade, balsamic syrup and baby arugula or "Delmonico's Steak Tartare" with dijon emulsion, buttered toast and traditional garnishes and crab and mirliton stuffed baked Louisiana oysters with bearnaise sauce."

Entree choices include "Delmonico Chicken" featuring black truffle stuffed chicken with roasted potatoes, double cut pork chop with caramelized sweet potatoes, green chile mole and tamarind glaze and paneed veal with fettuccine pasta, English peas, country ham and parmesan cream.

Dessert favorites on offer include bananas foster ice cream pie, lemon ice box pie and the JK Grand Marnier chocolate souffle with Grand Marnier chocolate sauce.
