Next year you will be able to eat, drink and "rewind" in a part of the strip you've been avoiding. The Miracle Mile Shops is converting the underused stretch of properties that once included the Harmon Theater, into a 60,000 square-foot "dining and entertainment destination." This section of Harmon Avenue languishes, with the current active tenant space of DB's Pong and Pool even being advertised as available to lease right now.
This just off the Strip location has also been long rumored to become the new site of a BB King Blues Club & Grill and the just released project rendering coincidentally includes the word "blues" on its speculative signage.
Individual current footprints for lease range in scale from the 16,928-square-foot of the former Harmon Theater, to a ground floor 11,220-square-foot property with a 7,998-square-foot mezzanine. No word has yet been announced on prospective tenants, nor the fate of Todai Sushi & Seafood Buffet, which sits right in the middle of this makeover. Construction is not estimated to begin until 2015.
