The Venetian is taking the formula of dinner and a show to a unique elevated level with its participation in Vegas Uncork'd by Bon Appétit. Inspired by Asian outdoor food markets, "The Night Market: East Meets West" event enlists the resort's resident star chefs Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller and Buddy Valastro to provide their upscale twist on Asian street food and are joined by rare appearances from Singapore chefs Justin Quek of Sky On 57 and Tewtsuya Wakuda of Waku Ghin, both located in the Marina Bay Sands and Australian star chef, author and TV personality Luke Mangan.

For three hours, guests can graze on a wealth of dishes including "dim sum, Peking duck, sea urchin, and wok-fried Maine lobster." Asian-inspired cocktails and drink choices will include sake, beer and wine.

Performers from the resort's stage production PANDA!, will also be performing panda costumed scenes from their show featuring energetic members of the China National Acrobatic Troupe and the Shaolin Monastery Kung Fu Monks Troupe .

The festivities take place on May 8 from 8 to 11 p.m. on the Doge's Palace plaza facing the Strip. With most of the Vegas Uncork'd events already sold out, advance tickets purchases are advised for the East Meets West event, with a handful of cash-only, last-minute tickets available Thursday night.
