The expansion by local Tenaya Creek Brewery into the Arts District is moving quickly through the permit stage. Documents presented to the City Planning Commission confirm Eater Vegas' reveal in March of an urban lounge to replace a long dormant business center.
Formerly occupied by Ye Olde Goatsheade Pub, the total 17,321-square-foot concept will include regular seating for 91, 14 seats at the L-shaped bar and 20 seats on the patio.
On 3rd Street itself, "café" style tables have been proposed to accommodate an additional 25 guests, although the width of the sidewalk may prove an issue for approval. The plan for five gaming machines to be installed inside will be considered by a separate committee.

Also presented in the documents is a project rendering by local team Novus Architecture, giving a broader hint at the plans to turn the parking area into a welcoming outdoor space.
The adjacent, right angled, 6,751-square-foot building will be developed at a later date, possibly by Tenaya Creek themselves.
Planned hours are 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily and a late summer debut for the tavern is expected.
