An update on the Eater Vegas reveal that local restaurant Off The Strip Bistro is headed to The Linq, uncovers they will occupy a substantial presence at the outdoor entertainment plaza.
Off The Strip will take over 10,947 square feet of space next door to the entrance to O'Sheas Irish pub. And just like O'Sheas, an interior entrance into the restaurant will be created from The Quad casino floor. Off The Strip offers gaming at their sports tavern in Spring Valley.
The restaurant will occupy two floors of the already constructed shell building. On both levels will be a full kitchen and bar and they are even installing an elevator for the maximum 401 occupants. Facing The Linq esplanade, it is doubtful the frontage will be able to accommodate a patio or outdoor seating, unlike close neighbors Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar and F.A.M.E.
The current construction estimate is $900,000, the same amount quoted in 2013 when Off The Strip was first listed as a future Linq tenant and before rumored money problems pulled them from the project. The once promised menu featured steaks, pastas, chicken and fish dishes along with traditional American comfort food.
