Look for the penguin. Yuki Shaved Snow has debuted in a former insurance office, serving up desserts, ice cream and their specialty, shaved snow. The chilled dish with the flavor of ice cream and the texture of shaved ice, is available in flavors like green tea, mango, strawberry and taro chocolate. They describe it as tasting "like frozen cotton candy."

There are also ice cream filled donuts that can be upgraded with toppings such as Lucky Charms and Cap'n Crunch cereals added to a full range of Thrifty ice cream. For more unusual additions, try mochi, boba pearls or condensed milk.

Also in store, a range of unusual beverages, including cult favorite Ramune, the Japanese brand featuring the famous glass bottle with a marble sealed in the neck.

Yuki is promoting their brand with a smiling penguin as its logo. Hours are Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., until 11 p.m on Friday and Saturday and from 6 to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
