Hot Feel, the Asian restaurant at 4350 Spring Mountain Road, came within one point of being shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection on June 4.
Inspectors found that staff weren't washing their hands, the kitchen had inaccurate thermometers, food unprotected from contamination and more during the 40-demerit inspection.
This is the first SNHD visit to Hot Feel, which opened about three months ago.
The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
