As Eater Vegas warned you, the central, 24-hour City Bar at Aria will temporarily close Sunday, June 22, to begin a complete makeover.
The resort announces "a new concept will be announced in the coming weeks," but paperwork filed last month called for an impressive $2,667,849 construction budget on the 2,360-square-foot, open-plan design.
The current plans call the forthcoming creation of a new "City Bar." Last year the resort briskly finished an upgrade of its other 24-hour lounge Bar Moderno, renaming it Lift Bar, and made another name switcheroo with the Café Vettro restaurant, re-branded into Aria Cafe.
