Big news for puff fanatics, Beard Papa's, the Japanese creator of "World's Best Cream Puffs," is headed into the Asian night market F.A.M.E. at The Linq.
Standing for Food, Art, Music and Entertainment, the Beard Papa's addition will bring the entertainment of watching servers fill freshly baked, all natural ingredient French "choux" puffs via a machine doling out whipped-cream custard in flavors ranging from classic vanilla, to bolder choices like Earl Grey tea and pumpkin. With no preservatives, each puff contains 220 calories and are frequently enjoyed in a box of six.

The franchise was created in Osaka, Japan, in 1999 and has been in the United States for 10 years. The closest West Coast Beard Papa's are located in California and the logo character is becoming so recognizable he was turned into a character in the 2012 Disney animated film Wreck-It Ralph. Rumor has it, the name is play on the French phrase for cotton candy, "barbe à papa," literally translated as "Dad's beard" and the ubiquitous jaunty sailor spokesman resembles original creator Yuji Hirota.
A tentative June 16 debut was revealed to Eater Vegas by a F.A.M.E. representative.
