One of the three new brew pubs coming to Henderson is ready to tap the keg. Bad Beat Brewing — which is joining the coming Vegas Brewing Co. and CraftHaus Brewery as well as Grape Expectations wine making experience and the Las Vegas Distillery in the Henderson Commerce Center Eastgate commercial center — plans to open on July 11 with a poker-themed microbrewery.
Land individual five-ounce drafts or beer flights of five. Guests can take home a growler. Bad Beat plans to have food trucks outside from 7 to 10 p.m. on opening weekend and at least one food truck serving during regular business hours. Guests will be able to play games such as shuffleboard and darts or fire up the Nintendo.
Bad Beat also plans to have a rewards program — The High Roller Society — for discounts on pints, bottles, growlers, merchandise and more. Membership will be discounted during the opening weekend.
Southern Wine & Spirits plans to distribute Bad Beat kegs and 22-ounce bombers to stores and bars in Henderson, Las Vegas and the surrounding areas.
Owners Nathan and Sara Hall sold their house and invested their savings to build Bad Beat Brewing. Master brewer Weston Barkley and general manager Mike Dominiak join the team.
