A new, authentic German dining experience has taken over the former Meat & Three location in Henderson. Bavarian Castle aims to provide traditional dishes and beers and add a dash of Germanic atmosphere.

Owners Rainer and Ulrike Doehler have created a developing menu including schnitzel with pepper sauce, "Frikadellen" meatballs, curry wurst with homemade curry sauce, Ulrike's Sauerkraut, owner Rainer's Potato Salad, or "Kartoffelsalat," made from "a 100-year old family recipe" and their "Bavarian Castle Bratwurst."

Approved for a liquor license, German beers for sale include Warsteiner Pilsner, Paulaner Salvator, Paulaner Thomas Brau, Paulaner Hefeweizen, Paulaner Alkoholfrei and König Ludwig Weissbier.

German wines already promoted include Starling Castle Riesling 2012 and Schmitt und Söhne Piesporter Michelsberg Spätlese 2011.

Opening hours will be Tuesday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They are closed on Mondays.
